Welcome to the Flourish blog! Flourish has been a labor of love between myself and Marielle over the past year. After attending a salon industry conference and being inspired we decided it was time to take action! This project is a way for us to share our knowledge and become more involved in the salon community that we love. With a combined 40 years experience in the industry, wearing the hats of stylist, sales director, educators, mentors, artistic director and current salon owner. Every bride wants to feel special on their big day and confident with the salon providing services. Specializing in this area can set your salon apart from others and attract wedding parties and other special event styling guests. Have you ever taken the time to think about what you want your life to look like this week, this month, this year...over the next five years?  Believe me this is sooooooo important to do- life goes by whether you are ready or not.  The good news is that the Beauty industry is full of opportunities to fit any lifestyle.  It's up to you to decide what that looks like. The best way to do this is to PLAN.  We all have the same 24 hours in a day, it is all about how you use them.   Take some time to really think about your life.  What are your priorities?  What do you want to accomplish in the next 12 months?  Now grab a piece of paper, your phone or download the form below.   Write down your professional and personal goals?  Be specific. There are on average 20 salons or more that a guest will drive past on their way to see YOU!!    We can’t afford to take that for granted.
